Concatenate Arrays (axis=0)

The 1st syntax to concatenate two arrays is:

np. concatenate((array1, array2), axis=0)

Example 5.3

import numpy as np

a1 = np. array([[11,12,13], [14,15,16]])

a2 = np. array([[21,22,23], [24,25,26]])

myArr = np. concatenate((a1, a2), axis=0 )

print(myArr)

Output:

[[11 12 13]

[14 15 16]

[21 22 23]

[24 25 26]]

Explanation:

“np. concatenate((a1, a2), axis=0 )” joins two arrays vertically , because of the parameter “axis = 0”.
